Hi...everyone, i guess some of you know me ^.^ i'm Jessica Kong, 23 this year (sob...sob... ) getting older but nvm, as long as i'm young in the heart ...haha this is wat my mom use to say...

I graduated from UNITAR (Kelana Jaya) Class 2006 ^.^ have been working in Genting, Casino Marketing as Secretary for nearly a year... ehhem, i can't say i'm an expert here, but at least i know a bit more, so any question i could help i will do my best...

I studied Management Majoring in Mgmt Science (e.g.Operation, Budgeting, Services) and minor in Quality (e.g. ISO, fish bone, kanban...)
I'm from Penang but mainland side (Prai) anyone from somewhere around there???

Anyway, nice meeting all...and thanks to JAYNE for her effort of creating this forum so that all of us can be together b4 31/07...

Hello~all friends.. I m from Prai as well. I am staying around Chai Leng Park. WOuu.. Jessica, we are from same "kampung".

I am 25yrs old. I am curently working at a logistic company. I have been working in this company for 2 yrs. Why I want to quit? hm..young ppl wish to "TRY" when they r still young! RIGHT? haha... I m the young person.

Actually I am quite worry how is the working environment in Genting? Is it very scary place to work? since we will bond for 3 yrs, We cannt leave when facing unhappiness as we like (normally one mth notice we can prepare for new job) . After been asking around, all my friends comments "HAR? 3 yrs? hv to compensate if quit" then must think carefully. WHAT DID You get response from your friends n family? Let share here.

Hi everyone.

I'm Min Seng, the oldest of all (so sad). I graduated from University Malaya in 2004, Bachelor of Accounting. I'm from Melaka but have been in PJ since I started studying in UM in year 2000. I do go back to Melaka quite often, so if anyone coming over to Melaka can always give me a call.

It's really great to see this forum coming alive. Thanks Jayne for the effort.

Well, to response to Jayne's query, I am facing many problems from families and friends posing many questions as well. Honestly, I received a huge pay cut by joining Genting. Most of my friends think that I'm crazy as this is a downgrade from my previous companies. Moreover have to work for 3 years, future quite uncertain also. Therefore sometimes it's really hard for me to justify my decision to them.

I have worked as an Accounts Executive, Sales Controller and Financial Analyst before. All 9am-9pm office job. Although I studied accounting, but I really don't like to do office job. Everyday sit in front of the pc, look at figures, filing, searching for documents, casting - all these made me feel sleepy and bored. Therefore, I have choosen this path, which I think is the right one.

So Jayne, the only way you can justify to everyone that your decision is right is by performing well and there will be a day when you look at your friends and families and tell them, "see, I have made the right decision".

Hi there, I'm from KL. born and raised. age is not a factor lah... we all still will get along together.. so dont bother so much about that la.. graduated last year in International Business Management. not been working for almost 1 year... dont ask me what i have been doing.. i dont even know ....oh.. i'm a guy, 'quite' tall.. but not really that tall.. so dont keep telling me i'm tall "heard that many many many times liao''..well hope we wont get bored up there
